One of the ways to get a rich, luxurious look with an elegant sparkle is to use brass in the carpentry details. In the house in Jerusalem, this look was further strengthened with the use of paint with a metallic finish on some of the joinery details. While in the library in the study, thin brass sides were incorporated, the bedside tables, the sink cabinets and other carpentry details were painted in a metallic color and added a unique and impressive twist. One of the most popular coatings for carpentry details is of course the veneer: oak, American walnut, eucalyptus, bamboo, teak and more. Each of them has a uniqueness resulting from the type of wood and its characteristics, but also from the way the trunk is laid out, which produces a different texture, and as a result, veneers with a different appearance: flower veneer, "eye" veneer, or stripe veneer.
